This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Lumio Future Inc. (“Company,” “we” or “us”) handles information
when you use our short-drama application “Lumio” and its browser version (collectively, “Lumio”). By continuing
to use Lumio you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to its terms.

1. Our Basic Approach
We collect only the information we need to run Lumio safely and enjoyably, and we manage everything in
accordance with Japan’s Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws.
2. Information We Collect
User-supplied data – name, age, date of birth, gender, e-mail address, phone number, any text or images you
upload, the dates and times you use Lumio, and your in-app behaviour (for example, which dramas you watch or
“like”).
Device data – device model, OS and version, carrier, IP address, app version, network type, login time and
related technical logs.
Location data – GPS readings or Wi-Fi/Bluetooth access-point data (collected only with OS-level
permission).
Advertising data – whether, when and how often you saw or clicked an ad, plus any follow-up use of the
advertised product or service.
3. How We Use the Information
1.Operate Lumio – register and authenticate accounts, send service notices, deliver videos and personalised
feeds.
2.Measure & Improve – aggregate usage statistics and analyse trends to maintain quality and develop new
features.
3.Develop New Services – create fresh short-form content, functions or sister products that build on today’s
insights.
4.Marketing – send newsletters, promotions or personalised ads that may interest you.
5.Customer Support – answer questions, solve bugs and handle other enquiries.
6.Rule-check – confirm compliance with our Terms of Use and other policies.
7.Security & Fraud Prevention – detect spam, illegal activity or unauthorised access and act on it
swiftly.
8.Stability & Safety – keep servers healthy, defend against outages and safeguard everyone’s experience.
We will not use your data for any other purpose unless (a) you give consent, or (b) we are legally obliged to do
so.
4. Sharing & Disclosure
Outside the eight purposes above we do not disclose personal information, except when:
Required by law or court order, or to prevent imminent harm;
Entrusting work to service partners (including those outside Japan) who sign strict confidentiality agreements
and operate under our supervision;
You authorise it explicitly, for example by linking Lumio to another service or social network.
We never sell your data.
5. Safeguards
We employ SSL encryption in transit, hashed and access-controlled storage, regular security audits and staff
privacy training to prevent loss, leakage or misuse of your information.
6. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies only to Lumio. When you tap a link or share content to another app, site or social platform,
their rules apply; please review their privacy statements separately.
7. Correcting Your Data
If any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, you may request its correction, addition or
deletion. Once we decide on the request we will notify you without delay.
8. Stopping Use of Your Data
Should you no longer wish us to process personal information—whether entirely or only regarding third-party
sharing—contact us via the address below. We will discuss available options, which may include account deletion.
